This is a stock flywheel key that can be filed to advance timing. Every 0.006" you file off is equal to 1* advance. Example: remove 0.048" for an 8* advanced timing key. See "Advance Timing in our Performance Basics section. Depending on the supplier we use, the key you receive may be shorter than your stock key however it will service the same purpose which is to align the flywheel at a specific timing position.
